Diana Hunter, a Signature Artist with the Indiana Wildlife Artists, enjoys photographing and painting wildlife and nature scenes. After teaching art at the Indianapolis Public Schools she now serves as an adjunct instructor at Indiana Wesleyan University. Come see a Snowy Egret dance, or view a colorful butterfly perched on a flower. View a malachite (named for a green mineral) butterfly resting on a leaf that it matches. View a hawk, buffalo, mallard ducks and a marmot among others. To round out the exhibit she has included 4 lovely paintings by her Mother, Mardenna J. Hunter (1910-2006). Diana Hunter’s artwork has been displayed at the Indiana State Fair, Eagle Creek’s “Images of Nature”, Irvington Presents, the Indiana Wildlife Artists Annual Exhibit, the Indianapolis Mayor’s Office, the Indiana Governor’s Mansion, the Lieutenant Governor’s Office and the Nature Conservancy of Indiana’s Exhibit at the Indianapolis International Airport. She has won numerous awards and is thankful to the Lord for all of the opportunities she has been given.
