FRI 6/17-8/12/16 Figures of Speech Art Exhibit

Can you guess what figure of speech this is? Do not miss Diana Hunter’s mixed media artwork at:

The Anderson Center for the Arts
32 West 10th ST
Anderson, Indiana 46016

A total of 14 Indiana artists and four Midwest artists (MO, IL, OH, WI) were juried into the show with a total of 31 pieces. Mediums range from oil, acrylic, and clay to stitched paper, collage, charcoal, glass, etched copper, and much more.

This juried art exhibit depicts Figures of Speech or “Sayings”.  Here are some examples of “figures of speech” that could be turned into a work of art:  “Birds of a feather flock together” and “the squeaky wheel gets the grease”.
